Retreating From Danger

So much experimenting went into this one. Tried going for a different mane style than my go-to style, tried using movement lines, and even tried to draw an emotion I'm not too terribly familiar with (fear), even the pose is a new one for me. Not really sure I could say I succeeded in my task or not, but it was a learning experience all the same. The theme was "Draw a pony shrinking back/Draw a pony growing up".
